Guidelines for Data Request:

  • Please check that the data you are requesting are not already available through our online queries or for download (SAS and CSV format).
  • Preliminary estimates are usually posted 45 days following the end of each wave.
  • Final estimates are usually posted by April 15 of the following year.
  • Requests are generally handled in order of receipt and will follow the data request policy. Please allow 4-6 weeks for requests, though it may be completed earlier in some cases.
  • LPTS data is only available beginning in 2003, and LPIS data is available beginning in 2002. The LPS data only covers the region VA-ME from June through October
